The Wartwood herons are the duo of herons that killed Mr. and Ms. Plantar in an attack on Wartwood.
They were then at some point captured by Andrias' army and controlled through special collars made by them before being freed and tamed by Sprig, Hop Pop and Polly.
It's unknown what happened to the two by the end of the series, but since they didn't appear in "The Hardest Thing", it's possible they were left on Earth under the care of the FBI and Mr. X.
Appearance[]
Body[]
These herons have large beaks and feathers. While one heron has red eyes and a purple beak with a teal crest, wings, and eye-ring, the other's eyes are yellow with a red beak and navy blue feathers. Their necks' coat is white, and from the belly down is a green-gray or a purple-gray. They have large legs with webbed claws on their feet.
Clothing[]
While enslaved by the Frobot army, these herons were fitted with head armor, neck armor, and armor on their wings. This armor has a dark-purple color with spikes and magenta wires. The herons initially wore mind-control collars on their necks, with cuffs resembling the collars on the base of their legs.
Additional features[]
Each heron has an X-shaped scar underneath the left side of their bodies, inflicted by Hop Pop years ago.
Personality[]
These herons have the mentality of wild animals, curious and trying to feed themselves at all costs. When under mind control, they are much more focused on counterattacking the human military and terrorizing the people during the earth invasion. After being freed from the collars, the Plantars tamed them with the Plantar ritual, making them be obedient and responsive to the Plantars' directions.

Trivia[]
- A similar pair of herons appeared in the episode "Prison Break", although they do not appear to be the same as the ones that attacked Wartwood, as they lack the scars inflicted by Hop Pop.
- It's unknown why both Herons are always together even after so many years, the most likely reason is that both are relatives like siblings or even mates, but it was never stated in the series.
