The Sharps are a band made up of Anne Boonchuy, Marcy Wu, and Sasha Waybright. The band was around before and during their trip to Amphibia. The Sharps played in the Wartwood Battle of the Bands.
Background[]
Back on Earth, Sasha started a garage band called Sasha and the Sharps. They played Sasha's song "Heartstomper" at talent shows.
When Mayor Toadstool announces that Wartwood will be having a Battle of the Bands, Anne, Marcy, and Sasha practice in Anne's bedroom at the Plantar Farm. Polly joins them along with Frobo for special effects, mainly consisting of fog and lights. After Anne teaches Marcy and Sasha her own song, "No Big Deal", Sasha has some notes. The notes are critical and make the song very different. This leads to an argument between Anne and Sasha, so Sasha decides to join Toadie in their own band. Anne and Marcy rename themselves The Sharps after Sasha leaves and they decide to play Anne's song at the Battle of the Bands.
Marcy and Anne play their song on stage while Sasha watches. Then when Anne's guitar solo that was originally meant for Sasha comes up, Sasha walks on stage to do the solo. This ends up in all three of the girls having a lot of fun as they all sing together. In the end they get an 8 from the judges, Mayor Toadstool and Albus Duckweed. This places them in second place after Captain Grime. Sasha remarks that even though they lost, she had a lot of fun.

- In Anne's concept art for the group's bug outfits, Marcy, the drummer of the band, is doing the peace sign. This could be a reference to Ringo Starr, the drummer of the Beatles, who also does the peace sign.
- Sasha is the only band member not to dress as a bug, although Anne draws her as one in her notepad displaying costume ideas.
