| (The Plantars and Anne run out of the house with excitement. While Anne was on her way running to the museum, Mrs. Boonchuy stopped her holding three plates of food.)

Oh, good. You're here. Help us (Mr. Boonchuy opens the back trunk of the car) finish loading the car.

| (Anne turns and sees two students taking pictures of the Boonchuys.)

HEY! (the two students gasp) I see you! Desi, Rico. (Desi and Rico run away.)

Ugh. Nosy gossip bloggers from the school paper trying to get an exclusive photo of "the girl who went missing".

| (At the Boonchuys' stall, Hop Pop opens 4 food trays while Sprig opens an umbrella.)

You're on sample duty (puts on a Thai Go hat on Anne and ties her hair) today. (gives her a tray of barbeque sticks.) Now stand out in the open where everyone can see you. (goes somewhere else)

| (A group of older women arrives. They get excited.)

| (Polly jumps on a bench, Sprig passes through a guy holding food trays and Hop Pop sees different stalls.)

Hold on, (grabs her phone) Dr. Jan. (cuts to her phone where it says 10:00 am) Just one hour, and I'll be there.

| (Two people were drinking their Thai Milk tea, while Polly is walking step by step.)

I'm walking like a human! Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh! Eh! (kids laughing in a room) Eh?

| (Polly takes a peek inside the Thai classroom.)

(speaks in Thai) It's time to sleep!

(Applauds her) Very good! (As Polly goes to the front and sits) You taking Thai before?

(speaks in Thai) No, but I HAVE watched Mrs. Boonchuy's entire Thai romcom collection!

| (Children are impressed.)

(coughs) Show-off.

| (Hop Pop is shown walking around a bit while whistling, when he suddenly finds something interesting in a room. A group of Thais in flashy clothing is seen dancing and playing ancient music.)

Ooh! Excuse me, what's all this then?

It's Khon dancing, (While he dances a little) a performance art where dancers tell a beautiful drama of epic scale through intricate movements and expressive gestures.

(impressed) Intricate movements? Expressive gestures? DRAMA? I'M IN!

| (Hop Pop does a gross, expressive and crazy act, in the end he gets tired. The group is impressed and cheers.)

| (The scene is changed with Sprig walking while eating some Thai sweets.)

| (Sprig gets the ball with a kick, does a deadly pirtuera and with another kick, returns the ball to them. The group is impressed as the ball ends up hitting a player.)

Just returning a few dishes some of the community members lent me.

All right. It must've been almost an hour by now. (looks at her cell phone and notices that it is 10:10 am) IT'S ONLY BEEN 10 MINUTES?! That's it. (swallows the remaining 3 Moo Ping and spits out the sticks) (while calling Dr. Jan) Sorry, mom, but I have more important things to do today than hand out samples. (talks to Dr. Jan) Hey, Dr. Jan. It's me, Anne.

| (Meanwhile, in the outskirts of the city, Cloack-Bot is interfering with Anne's call.)

I'm at the Thai temple, but I'll be at the museum in 30 minutes tops.

| (Cloak-Bot gets the location of the call.)

Deploying drones.

| (Cloak-Bot opens from its neck and flying balls appear, but when they transform, they turn out to be robot dragonflies.)

| (The robot dragonflies are on their way to the Thai temple. In the meantime...)

Now, all I got to do is collect those frogs and avoid some parents. (puts her cell phone in her pocket, sees a woman similar to her) First, a decoy. (approaches the similar woman) Psst! I'll give you 5 bucks to pretend to be me for 45 minutes.

I don't see why not. (Anne puts the hat on her and hands her the plate) (Anne leaves) So you're gonna write me a check or...

| (Anne goes for Sprig, but hides in a counter as Mrs. Boonchuy passes. She comes out of hiding.)

Sprig! Hey, Sprig! Whoa...

| (Sprig does a high jump, turns and with a kick aimed at the ground, kicks the ball and scores a point.)

| Sprig
|
(While the others cheer him on) Yes!

| Anne
|
Wow. He is really good at that. Looks like he's having fun too. (leaves) Maybe he can give this one a miss.
|
| (Anne goes for Hop Pop, but she gasps when she sees him. Hop Pop brings a mask and a cane while he does contemporary dance.)

Psst! Hop Pop! Psst!

|
Shh. Anne, this is a silent theater.
|
| (Hop Pop walks up to the Khon 2 dancer, picks him up, and strikes a pose. Anne sighs and leaves him alone.)

(While going by Polly) Man, those two have really gotten sucked in.
|
| (Anne looks at Polly while Polly is in conversation.)

| Polly
|
(speaks in Thai) And then I said, "I know you are, but what am I?"

| (The Thai teacher and the children laugh.)

| Anne
|
What the heck? I sat through Thai school for years and can barely string a sentence together.

| Polly

(while Anne watches her) (laughs)

| Anne
|
It is sort of neat to see all three of them connecting to Thai culture like this. (runs to the exit of the temple)

| (Anne is shown running after exiting the temple.)

I'll just update them after I see Dr. Jan. (bumps into Mrs. Boonchuy with a pile of dishes) MOM?!

|
(The plates almost fell but she managed to get hold of them) Anne? You're supposed to be at the stand.

Oh, well yes. You see-

| Mrs. Boonchuy
|
You were sneaking out to visit your museum friend. Weren't you?

| Anne
|
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Ok, you got me.

| Mrs. Boonchuy
|
I don't believe this. You really couldn't wait one hour?

| Anne
|
(groans) Look, I already said hi to everyone. Now I have to get to the museum so I can get my interdimensional friends home. It's super important.

So is this! We owe so must to this community. Why do you think I'm returning all those dishes?

|
I don't know? Because you had a potluck party?

| Mrs. Boonchuy

No! Everyone here cook us meals and took care of me and dad for all those months you were gone.

(Makes a shocked face) Oh. I-I had no idea. Wow, I feel like a jerk.

(Places her hand on Anne's shoulder) They were worried about you and us. The community ran our store here and sent us the money. Even helped out at the restaurant. And never asked for anything in return.

That's really cool.

It is pretty cool.

| (The group of robot drones flew across the Thai temple.)

Huh? What are those things?

| (Everyone sees the group of drones.)

What's going on?

| (Anne and Mrs. Boonchuy ran to the Temple.)

| Anne

Whoa! Drones! They must be from the robot!

| Mrs. Boonchuy
|
What robot?
|
| Anne
|
(Gets shocked as she heard her response) Uuuuh, the robot is the name the gossip blog those girls from school run! They uh, must have sent the drones to take more photos of me! (pushes Mrs. Boonchuy) Just tell everyone they have to take cover! I've got this!

| (The drones try to blast Anne, but they shot at the bench. The Plantars heard something and run to Anne.)

Anne! We heard a blast! What's going on?

| Anne
|
Looks like the robot sent some scouts after us! We have to protect the temple of everyone in it!

(are on guard) Right! (Hop Pop puts on his Thai mask)

We're right behind you.

| (The Thai community runs to collaborate with Anne and the Plantars.)

Mom! I told you to tell everyone to take cover!

(as they hang out with Anne and the Plantars) Yeah! Yeah!

| (The robot dragonflies split and launch lasers, causing destruction throughout the Thai temple.)

| (Polly climbs on a lamp post and uses a megaphone when speaking.)

| Polly

All right, everyone! (speaks in Thai) CHARGE!
|
| (The Thai community rush to attack the robot dragonflies. A men, Thai Woman 4 and Thai Men 1 throw food at them and Ba-Med screams and throws a giant deep pot at them. 2 robot dragonflies are collapsed by the thrown food, the third dodges but is collapsed by the pot.)
|
| (Khon dancers 2 and 3 hit two robot dragonflies with their sticks. Hop Pop runs towards the dancer Khon 1 so that he picks it up and gives him momentum. When Hop Pop is on the air, while yelling, he takes off his Thai mask and knocks out a robot dragonfly, but drops his glasses and fake nose in doing so.)

| (Meanwhile, the Sepak takraw woman receives the ball and passes it to the Sepak takraw player 2 and then passes it to Sprig. He does a couple of pull-ups and with a big head, knocks out a robot dragonfly.)

|
(hits a robot dragonfly with a tray) Sample (hits 2 robot dragonflies with the tray) this! (runs) Yeah!

All right, you evil bugs bots, sample this too.

| (Mr. Boonchuy throws a tray at a robot dragonfly, but it misses. The robot dragonfly is going to attack him, so he screams and tries to cover.)

| Sprig
|
(yells) Anne's dad!
|
| Polly
|
SPRIG, (jumps) KICK ME!
|
| (Sprig jumps towards Polly and while screaming, he does a somersault and does a front kick at her, while losing his hat, mask and sneakers. Polly flies towards the robot dragonfly and destroys it with a kick; as a result, her entire disguise comes off only with her bow.)
|
| (When there are no more robot dragonflies, Anne and the Plantars reunite, while Polly gets on top of Sprig. They gasp with exhaustion and then party. Anne hugs Sprig and they turn around, puts them back on the ground and Polly jumps a bit. However, Anne finds out that their costumes fell off and she begins to worry.)

(gasps) (worried) Guys, your disguises! They've fallen off!
|
| (The Plantars find out and Anne is paralyzed, and suddenly, the entire Thai community finds out and is shocked and perplexed.)

| Anne
|
(nervous) E-Everyone, I can explain.

| Thai Woman 1
|
No no no no. (approaches towards them) No need to know. If they're your friends...
|
| Papu
|
...then they are our friends too.

| Ba-Med
|
No matter how ugly they are.
|
| (The Thai community laughs.)

|
Ouch.

It's funny, but it still stings.

Wow. Thanks, you guys. I don't even know what to say except... (speaks Thai while wai them) Thank you so much.

| (Several minutes later, while Anne cleans with a large broom, Mrs. Boonchuy observes the head of a robot dragonfly.)

| (Anne looks at the Plantars, where Hop Pop talks to the Thai Master while Polly is with him and Sprig does some ball tricks impressing the Sepak takraw group.)

| (Suddenly, a honk is heard, and it turns out it was Dr. Jan inside her truck.)
