The spa is a location in Wartwood Swamp, where the inhabitants come to relax and unwind. They offer showers and fish pedicures.
Appearance[]
The spa's entrance is quite glamorous, with carved fountain statues on either side and a blue stone pathway. There's also two lazy-rivers with lily-pads and pink crystal gems which provide light and serve as decorations to the elegant interior. There is a receptionist desk at the end of the building and a painting behind it.
Background[]
Anne takes Polly to the spa so the two of them can spend some quality girl time together. When the spa receptionist asks for ten copper coins each for payment, Anne, having borrowed Hop Pop's wallet, uses an IOU which the clerk accepts as the IOU reads "I'm Good For It!".
Upon being given towels, Polly becomes disinterested in being at the spa and suggests to do something more fun where she hits one of the employees with her towels. Anne convinces her to partake in the offerings of the spa anyways, saying she'll enjoy it. However, while receiving a fish pedicure, Anne notices Polly riding on one of the koi fish. She takes her off the fish and puts her on a chair, placing a slicing of cucumber on Polly's face so she can enjoy the spa, even though she clearly has no legs to enjoy the pedicure at her expense.
Trivia[]
- The painting behind the desk seems to be inspired by Sandro Botticelli's painting The Birth of Venus. However, a purple frog is depicted instead of Venus.
