Appearance[]
The mantis takes on the appearance of a common mantis, with two front legs lined with spines for grasping prey and a pair of back legs with hooks on either side. The mantis is mostly red in color, with a salmon pink forepart and abdomen, and orange-spotted wings. It has two pairs of mandibles on the front of its head, and two bulging pink eyes with purple lined highlights. Additionally, the mantis has two antennae extending from the top of its head. The mantis is quite large compared to other creatures of Amphibia, including its counterpart, the green mantis.
