Newtopia Castle, also known as King Andrias' Castle, was the home of King Andrias, the ruler of Amphibia, and later the base of operations for the Earth invasion and the Core.

Background[]

Core Symbol

Symbol of the Core in Newtopia Castle.

The castle is first seen in the episode "Marcy at the Gates", where the city of Newtopia is also introduced. For the majority of Season Two, it would remain stationary in the city until the S2 Finale episode "True Colors". After Anne returns the Calamity Box to King Andrias, he places it upon a pedestal, reactivating the Castle's technology and activating the thrusters around it, levitating the castle into the air. The castle also sends out a signal that reactivates the abandoned factories. In flashbacks for Andrias' history, the castle is still around when Andrias is alive, and it presumably has existed for a long time before Andrias or Aldrich.

During the winter, Andrias' Frobot invasion fleet assembles around the castle, and the castle itself flies with the invasion fleet through the portal to Los Angeles.

As the Castle arrive in Los Angeles, it deploys its invasion force on the city. However, the invasion was foiled, Anne along with the Plantars, Frobo, Lady, Olivia, General Yunan, Grime, Sasha, and Marcy took control of it and return to Amphibia with it and a captured Andrias. However, upon returning, Polly, who was piloting the castle, landed it outside the walls of Newtopia.

Appearance[]

The castle is very large, with three tiers and an ornamental structure on the top, which acts as an energy cannon (as shown when the castle destroyed the North Tower) and a portal projector (as seen in "The Beginning of the End"). Both of these abilities are only used after the Calamity Box is replaced on the pedestal. Around the base of the castle are four rectangular thrusters, which ignite with a blue flame and lift the castle into the air. On the base of the tower, a triangular structure protrudes from the bottom. Several blue patterns decorate the stonework of the thrusters and the walls.
