Mrs. Boonchuy is a supporting character in Amphibia. She is the wife of Mr. Boonchuy and the mother of Anne Boonchuy.
Appearance
Mrs. Boonchuy bears a resemblance quite similar to Anne but has light wrinkles at the side of her eyes, and unlike Anne, her hair was tied into a ponytail at the back when she's younger. During the flashback, she wears a blue jacket over a white shirt and brown pants. When Anne was a child, her mother did not have wrinkles yet and looked even more identical to her daughter.
In Season 3, her hair isn't tied up, she's wearing a purple blue sweater, a pair of light color jeans, a pair of greenish yellow earrings, and seems to be barefoot at home while seemingly wearing a pair of pink crocs when not at home. She's taller than her own daughter, though shorter than her husband.
During the episodes "Thai Feud" and "Mr. X", Mrs. Boonchuy wears a green apron and a red bandana.
During the episode Froggy Little Christmas, Mrs. Boonchuy wears a magenta robe, violet and white pajamas, teddy bear slippers and a Santa outfit.
Background
Not much is known about Mrs. Boonchuy's past, except that she was born in the captical of Thailand, Bangkok. Sometime later, she met then married her husband. Later, she bore her daughter, Anne.
When she and her husband immigrated to the US, they opened Thai Go near their house. According to Anne, she and her mother didn't always see eye to eye, as she was strict with Anne when Anne was back home, but Anne always goofed off.
Personality
Mrs. Boonchuy is strict, wanting Anne to be responsible in school. Despite the fact that she and Anne have argued many times, she still loves her daughter, no matter what.
