Dr. P's Extraordinary Guide To Magic & Mystery is a book that Marcy found at a public library in Los Angeles, as seen in the opening scene of the episode "True Colors". The book is how Marcy learned about key details regarding the Calamity Box, including information about the Calamity Gems, and that it can be used to "travel to other worlds."

- The characters Bill Cipher and Goliath, from Gravity Falls and Gargoyles respectively, each appear on one of the book's pages. Both characters were respectively voiced by Alex Hirsch and Keith David, the voices of Curator Ponds and King Andrias respectively.
- The presence of Bill Cipher as an entry in the book could imply that "Dr. P" is Stanford Pines, as it's been heavily implied by both Amphibia and The Owl House, as well as Alex Hirsch, that both shows share a world with Gravity Falls.
