Cynthia Coven is a book found on Earth. Marcy grew up reading this book as mentioned in "Maddie & Marcy" and she introduced the book to King Andrias, making him interested in the book as well as seen in "The New Normal". In "Anne-sterminator", the Cloak-Bot got Andrias the book he wanted, but got Book 3 instead, due to Book 2 already being out of stock.

Cynthia Coven and the Sorcerer's Step Ladder has a cover consisting of a red background of a shadow of fire, the title written in yellow font, a step ladder, and Cynthia holding a wand with one foot on the ladder. Cynthia has medium length black hair, round glasses, a red shirt with black stripes, jeans, and teal/white shoes.
Cynthia Coven and the Prisoner of Boca Raton has a cover consisting of a red background of a shadow of palm trees, the title written in green font, an animal of some kind that is white with wings, tail, and mouth. Cynthia is wearing a green shirt while riding the winged animal across the sky. The title of both books shown have had a lightning bolt as the "i" in "Cynthia".

Marcy read each book in the series five times, said in "Maddie & Marcy" when Maddie asks if she had an interest in the dark arts. During her journey in Amphibia, she introduces the series to King Andrias. He finds the series interesting and asks Cloak-Bot for Book 2 in "The New Normal" while holding Cynthia Coven and the Sorcerer's Step Ladder.
In "Anne-sterminator", King Andrias contacts Cloak-Bot to see its progress on its two missions, his first question seeing if it got the book. Cloak-Bot holds in his hand Book 3, Cynthia Coven and the Prisoner of Boca Raton. Book 2 was out of stock.
In "Escape to Amphibia", Cynthia Coven and the Sorcerer's Step Ladder is found in the FBI van Mr. X and Jenny are driving.

Marcy's early designs.
- According to Marcy, there are more books in the series, the only known two being book one, Cynthia Coven and the Sorcerer's Step Ladder, and book three, Cynthia Coven and the Prisoner of Boca Raton.[1]
- Cynthia Coven is a reference to JK Rowling's Harry Potter. Additionally, the former two books are a reference to the first and third books of the latter series, respectively.
- Cynthia shares many similarities with one of Marcy's early designs.
