Broadie is a character from Anne's story Phone Mo in the episode "The Shut-In!". He is based on Toadie, Mayor Toadstool's assistant.

Appearance

Broadie has a similar appearance to Toadie, with dirty blonde hair, circular eyes, a wide mouth, and freckles on his cheeks. Along with that, he has a fair complexion and wears a white button up shirt with a big red bowtie, and a black vest bearing the Saint Joe's school logo on the upper right side. He wears wine red shorts, long white socks, and brown lace-up shoes.

Background

In Anne's story "Phone-Mo", Boardie is one Anna's friends along with Twig, Molly, and Haddie. One day, Haddie and Broadie come upon a cute-looking animal video, but they discover the video is cursed and people were said to have mysteriously disappeared from watching it. They meet up with Anna, Twig, and Molly and ask them if they heard about it. As he is about to show it, he warns them about the curse. Broadie asks them if they are ready to watch it; though Molly watches it, Twig tells Anna not to watch it. Later, while Broadie is with Haddie, the Screen Fiend zap him into his cellphone, leaving behind his own phone. Haddie later tells Anna what happened to Broadie.

When the video plays on Anna's phone, Anna sees that Broadie, Molly, and Haddie were in the video with some random old guy. Anna destroys the Screen Fiend and frees Broadie along with Haddie, Molly, and the other victim. Twig shows up and informs them that a new burger joint had opened, and they all head out to it.
