Announcement: Amphibia: A Strange Voyage Coming Soon

Hello all!

Today, Barnes and Noble and TokyoPop had an autographed book signing for The Art of Amphibia, with Matt Braly and writer Drew Taylor as guest-speakers. Matt made the huge announcement that a spin-off series was in development, with Sprig leading the new adventure -- the 10-issue miniseries titled Amphibia: Strange Voyage is set to be written by Braly and illustrated by Beatrice "ZeoRandy" Bovo. A release date has yet to be announced.

Support! You've been efficient in maintaining the community as a rollbacker with a knack for spotting the small things. As an editor, you are reliable in fixing pages, and understand where things need to go. You have a solid understanding of the rules and tools, and you're always checking in with other editors about pages. Being a content mod will also grant you more experience within the staff and community, and more application to help out the wiki with additional tools that come with the position.

Hi! Apologies for the delay, I have some feedback on how to address these:

Friends and allies are loosely used, they're essentially for characters that have a positive relationship with each other. There are differences, but "Allies" is preferred as a general, and to avoid the overemphasis on friendship definitions. If characters barely interact with each other, they don't need a listing. When they do have significant interactions, it warrants a revisit. For instance, with the aforementioned axolotl girl, it is brief, but the episode's context does imply the girl and the other characters Anne helped out see her as their acquaintance, even in the brief instance. It's also not 100% unknown if they did talk to each other again, as we're only exposed to certain periods of screentime.

Likes and dislikes, like above, should be focused on significant preferences and revulsions. For example, not wanting to wake up early is a common gripe but not a full-out dislike. What sort of trivial example were you referencing?
With aliases, one-time name-calling and familial names aren't necessary. Although, "Kid" can be an exception, but also depends on the context--for example, when another character refers to someone with this name multiple times even if they're not related, or as a form of endearment.
Goal and fate do work better with major characters and/or semi-recurring characters that have these defined. If we know what a character's long-term ambition is, and whether their fate is plot-relevant or conclusion to their development and arc, it is noteworthy.
Inspiration, for sure be precise. Use it when the characters have a clear basis, and/or their inspiration is verified to be a specific source by the crew and designers.
Agreed, we don't need quotes for the infobox, what with the quote on top and the quotes subpage, the latter of which should be on standout quotes anyway and not every line a character says.

Other than "Allies", the other changes would be useful to the pages' setup.

I can see where it's coming from, and I sense that where the categories now are fine. The three are small spots in a large pond (relatively and figuratively speaking): as we've seen in Amphibia, there is more than one place with their own people and customs. If it were in mostly one setting, then the categorizing makes sense to help expand upon one location, however, seasons 2-3 emphasize more locations of equal importance. The show is called "Amphibia", so the focus is inevitably on the macro point-of-view. At the same time, the show didn't arguably give enough about Toad Tower and Newtopia as it did with Wartwood. While the three are popular places, creating deeper-cut categories has the potential to create categories people won't necessarily look for, or may get lost looking for them. Residents could work, in the sense the characters are heavily defined by their background, however, the reasoning doesn't apply for people who aren't from those locations: as you mentioned Marcy doesn't fall into Wartwood, the same goes for her not coming from Newtopia either. Anne also falls, as she is not from Wartwood to begin with.
