I see Marcy as a relatable autism representation as someone on the spectrum myself even if she wasn't written with that intention. Too many favorite moments for me to list, but some that stand out to me are her clumsiness (ie. falling down stairs) and especially her codependency.

I am so glad we're finally getting a continuation from the finale! I hope someday we can also get spin-off/continuation material of the girls once the frog lore wraps up. Sure their journey is over and the intermediate pre-timeskip aftermath was documented succinctly in the journey but Anne is the main character after all, although it'd be more interesting to see them grown up. But in the meantime I am more than ready to see Sprig and his friends explore that new continent!
I finally got my copy of the art book released today! I am so happy that we are still getting new content even after the finale. And you bet I'm super excited for the THIRD TokyoPop adaptation set to focus on Sprig and friends! I will be reading through all of it tonight and at my earliest convenience adapting new information into the wiki articles (unless someone else beats me to it lol).
Do you think Anne Marcy or Sasha will make cameos if we get to see what they're doing on Earth now as documented in the journal?

It didn't turn out as good as I expected but I was cooking for the rest of my family so the end result was rather minimal, but it still tasted great!

No. The story with the girls is over. Any timeskip lore is purely fanfiction fuel for individuals to adapt in their own unique ways and too good to make canon.
As much as I would've loved a fourth season and for the show to be continuing today, I think 3 is enough given the lore was wrapped up comprehensively in both the finale and the journal. I can't really complain about a "short run" if the series ended on a high note. My only regret is I wish I was a fan while it was still airing, but since the entire series has been made available on Disney+ and other streaming services and new official media being released post-finale, I'd say better late than never.
But with Matt's openness to continue the series if art book sales are successful, I'd say we still have a chance for a revival focusing on the frogs' lives post-departure with Sprig and Ivy exploring the new continent. It may not be the same as a Calamity prequel or timeskip spin-off for those like me who got into the show for the girls, but it'll still be something if you came to appreciate the show altogether including the frogs.
