Salutations Amphibia fandom. My name is Matt, and I just finished the last episode of Amphibia with my mum. I had seen all kinds of YouTube videos about it and a while ago my mother and I started watching it. And boy did we enjoy it. The first season was so nice. Matt Braly is without a doubt a comedic mastermind. My Mum loves Polly the most, she was so goofy and barbaric despite being a pollywog. Hop Pop is such a good patriarch of the family. And a truly forgiving grandfather. Sprig was the character I related to the most, craving action and a friend. The calamity trio were so good too. Anne is a great character, while I am super annoyed by her pointless shoe which we now call pulling a boonchuy, she was a great character to guide us through learning about amphibia.
Sasha was a two-sided character both sweet and sour but her arc is magnificent. Marcy was an amazing character to have too. I only wish we had actually seen her in season 1. I do kinda wish me got to see some male humans actually in Amphibia, Not just the girls.
Now this is where spoilers might come.
The first season was so funny in their little hometown.
The second was a wild adventure.
The third was awesome.
But the ending was heartbreaking. I cried a little, I never cry at all in that scenario. MATT BRALY HIT ME DEEP!!! THAT MASTERMIND!!!!😭🥹
I'm may be against Disney than I am with it but hot dang I love this show too much!!!
Another thing. Today would of been four years since my Nenak(grandmother) passed away, my life after that day has been mixed with stressed parents and me needing to build resilience. We've also lost a few other people like my god Jorge and my aunt Tilda last September. We coped by starting a little tradition where we do activities every month on the exact day of their death for the next year. Watching The amphibia finale today was somewhat inspirational for my mum too. I love it so much now and I want to join the club.
